It’s official: not only did we win the primary election, but we outperformed other candidates who raised significantly more money, and, as reporters and politicos have noted, we did so without meaningful party support.
Together, we’ve proven that a grassroots campaign built on hard work and focused on the issues can exceed expectations and achieve great things.
Our momentum has not gone unnoticed. I am proud to share that our campaign has secured endorsements from respected leaders who stand with us, including Jane Angvik, Jennie Armstrong, Tom Begich, Harriet Drummond, Alyse Galvin, Carolyn Hall, Berta Gardner, Cliff Groh, Pat Higgins, Andy Holleman, Andy Josephson, George Martinez, Genevieve Mina, and Donna Mears.
Their support and trust underscores our shared commitment to the values and future we believe in.
It's a future where every hardworking parent can breathe a little easier because childcare is both affordable and accessible for all. A future where we honor our dedicated teachers and public employees with the competitive retirement benefits they've earned and deserve.
Meanwhile, in light of his embarrassing primary loss, our opponent is already resorting to dishonest attack ads. It's a desperate attempt to deflect from his many failures and an effort to distract from his extreme responses to the far-right Alaska Family Action survey, which we understand his campaign begged Jim Minnery to scrub from the AK Voter Guide website.
This will be a hard-fought race, and we can't let him win. There’s too much at stake.
My opponent’s views on the issues we care most about are alarming, extremist, and simply out of touch. As your Senator, I’ll fight for your right to privacy and focus on crafting sound public policy. District F deserves representation that puts people over partisan politics.
In Solidarity,
Janice
