Residents of District F, we’ve been played. Since my opponent belatedly began his campaign just a few weeks ago, he has touted his ability to work with colleagues to get things done. However, a recent publication proves that sentiment rings hollow, and I’m deeply troubled.
The Alaska Voter Guide, published by the far-right Alaska Family Council, documents my opponent's response. It confirms that he has no intention of joining a bipartisan majority in the Senate or working across the aisle with members who have differing views or ideas to pass legislation that will benefit his constituents and all of Alaska.
This divisive and extreme about-face reeks of partisan political ideology and will ensure continued legislative gridlock, leaving the issues we care about unaddressed by leaders in Juneau.
