Voters Choose Park in Primary Election Night Results

Anchorage, AK – Propelled by overwhelming bipartisan support from voters passionate about defined benefits, expanded childcare access, and predictable public education funding, voters chose Janice Park in last night’s primary election. This victory signals a clear mandate from hardworking families across District F who demand a strong advocate willing to listen to their concerns and champion their interests in Juneau.

"I am deeply humbled and incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support our campaign has received. While I have the utmost respect for our democratic process and eagerly await the counting of every ballot cast in the primary election, last night’s results are a testament to the power of the people who believe in securing Alaska’s future by investing in our children, educators, and families," said Janice Park. "We’ve heard it at the doors, and now we’ve seen it at the ballot box. District F residents are ready for change and demand competent, compassionate leadership that will fiercely advocate for their needs and deliver results in Juneau.”

Park’s campaign message resonated with voters who are deeply concerned about the ongoing childcare crisis, the chronic underfunding of Alaska’s schools, and the plight of public servants working without the option to retire with dignity. Her focus on these critical issues highlights her commitment to ensuring that families and public employees have the support and resources they need, a promise they’ve long been denied.

"As we look toward November, I remain committed to being the voice for hardworking families who want to see real change in our state’s priorities," Park continued. "Together, we will build a stronger Alaska, where every child has the opportunity to excel, every teacher and paraprofessional is valued, and every family has the support they need to thrive. Time and again, my opponent has turned his back on children, our public servants, and the families of District F. Alaskans deserve better, and I’ll have their backs,” Park concluded.

Janice’s campaign has secured key endorsements, including the Alaska Public Employees Association/American Federation of Teachers (APEA/AFT), International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1547, Alaska AFSCME Retiree Chapter 52, and ASEA PAC, which combined, represent thousands of state, borough, and municipal employees.

Key figures, including former State Senate Minority Leader Berta Gardner, current State House Representative Donna Mears, Anchorage Assembly Member George Martinez, and Anchorage School Board Member Pat Higgins, also back Park, highlighting her strong support of public education and dedication to public service.
